I have already send a message to Mr. Hakim saying how wonderful this trip was but I want to thank you personnaly for the organization – everything was perfect. The visits in Cairo were very interesting, It was pleasure to walk in the streets of the old Cairo, I’ve discovered 3 great houses that have just been restored – fantastic ! Please transmit my thanks to the driver, Mohammed and to Usama, without their help, it would have been impossible for me to find all the monuments that I wanted to visit.

The staff of Oasis Expeditions , Wael, the driver and Malak, the guide, were two great guys – it was a pleasure to discover the oases with them and they did everything they can to assure that our trip was perfect. Everything was well organized, we were in complete security with them and have had a lot of fun in their company.
Thank you again and I hope to be soon in Egypt, country that I love more and more each time I visit it.

Yes, I do remember you and your family very well. I may recommend a travel agency, Garden City travel, that I have recommended to several friends who visited Egypt, and all of them were highly satisfied with their services. They own buses as well and hire good guides. You may contact the owner, Sherif Hakim, at sherifhakim@videotron.ca. I don't know any youth hostels as I always bring faculty members in hotels. You might have a chance to find some on the Internet. Students that I know who visited Egypt went to cheap hotels but again I haven't seen them. These people found them through the Internet or guide books. All the best,

My brother Rudolf and his family had a wonderful cruise on the Nile with a perfect german speaking guide. This young man deserves, according to my brother, a big compliment. So, should you need another german speaking tour guide one day, he is well recommended.

Also the hotel in El Ghouna was perfect and all the transfers were well organized.

Dear Sherif & Noha,
I wanted to thank you both for arranging our trip to Egypt. My daughter and I really did not know what to expect and were enthralled with your country. In fact, we did not want to leave and are already planning our next visit.
We particularly enjoyed the Moevenpick on Crocodile Island (the hotel enjoys a lot of return guests and I can understand why – it was idyllic) and were grateful to be on the 9th floor of the Nile Hilton in Cairo, overlooking the river.
You were right about the Novotel and if I hadn’t prepaid I would have taken your suggestion to switch. As it turned out, they gave us a room with no air conditioning (took them almost an hour to figure out they couldn’t repair it) and next morning when we got up at 5:30 not only was there no hot water, the shower didn’t even work! A small glitch in an otherwise perfect trip.

Your guides and drivers were reliable, friendly, very knowledgeable and courteous
– I shall be recommending your company to many Canadian colleagues and friends whom I’m encouraging to visit Egypt. The people are so friendly and the country so beautiful.
Can’t wait to come back.
